LLC is
systems automation provider for HVAC and mechanical systems in mission
critical environments. We specialize in high tier level data centers and
biotech/pharmaceutical facilities. Based in Lawrence, PA, PHS is looking
for well qualified person to join a growing company as a Field
Technician.
Basic Job Description:
The field technician is responsible for on-site
installation, checkout & verification of instrumentation and end devices
during the installation, startup and commissioning phases of the
project.

Primary Job Location: Lawrence,
PA
Responsibilities:
All aspects of checkout & startup to include:

Point-to-point wiring checkout
-
Verification of proper installation of instrumentation & end devices

Field
calibration of instrumentation
-
Documentation of all check-out activities performed

Work with
field engineers & site manager to complete project on schedule
-
Work with
subcontractors to verify installation
-
Participate in the start up and commissioning of control systems at
client facilities
Ideal
Candidate:
-
Will
possess a technical degree (HVAC, MET, EET or equivalent) or
equivalent industry experience in instrumentation, electronics, HVAC
or telecommunications.

Hands on
experience with calibration and troubleshooting of industrial and/or
commercial instrumentation.

Will be
able to work effectively with minimal oversight.

Will have
a strong technical aptitude.

Must be
able to read P&ID’s, wiring diagrams and other electrical and
mechanical drawings.

Must be
able to travel – job is 60-80% out of town work.
-
Must work
well with others and present themselves in a professional manner
with clients, other contractors and within PHS.
Other
information:
Position is a
full time job with excellent benefits including 401(k) and company
profit sharing. All travel expenses are company paid. Candidate must
pass background check, psychological evaluation and drug screening prior
to employment.
